Olympus, is this version a good'en?

Olympus E-20N, I am willing to wait and save, and then give that saved money to my mom so she can combine it with her money for a christmas gift.

Is it worth the money and the wait?

How good are the pictures?

Will it handle my shaky hand well? (I have a nerve condition that causes me to shake involentarly)

What about videos, does it only do stills, or does it do vids?

Any more answers and advice is apreciated also.

go to www.cnet.com and read user opinions on that camera. thats what i did before i bought mine and i ended up buying a different one then the one i was looking @. fyi i got the olympus c2040z

I too check all these sites before I make a purchase.

I own an Olympus D460Z.. not a 'big gun', but does a heck of a job. I imagine these bigger Olympus cameras would do even a more stellar job. I know my next digital camera will also be an Olympus. Never a single problem and superb photos!

1.3megapixle? OMG, like I can afford those many times over.

Sorry to demean you like that, but I just can't help it, its just so funny, cause I have enough right now to by many of those.

Also, I'm looking for a 4.0mp camera or higher...thats why I am looking for if it is good or not. I'm not looking for ease of use either. Usually, the more convoluted it is, the better the picture it takes, once you READ THE MANUAL...(so many forget to do that, either that, or they just are ignorants that don't want to read it and get fed up with them...LOL:brick: )

some of us are'nt as fortunate to be blessed with money like you apparently are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No one suggested a 1.3 mp camera to you, we simply told you what we currently have or have used in the past. We simply gave you some sites to get good professional and user reviews. Theres no reason to degrade people. Remember you asked us for our opinion NOT the other way around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd tell you what you can do with All of your money but I dont want to get ejected from this site. DONT ask for opinions next time if you are going to respon like that
