Old Key West

I have two questions for anyone who cares to answer. For the past 20 years my family has been vacationing in WDW. Is it true that they are renovating the Disney Institute? Also, this summer we are staying at Old Key West, in a 2 bedroom studio. Are these rooms nice? If anyone has pictures of these rooms, I would greatly appreciate it!! Thanks!!

The Institute is partly becoming a DVC resort. Some of the Riverside rooms are going to be changed and the 192 unit complex will be opening in 2003 (i think). The new resort will have some type of theme as well.

As for the two-bedroom at OKW -- it's beautiful. We love OKW we bought a membership into the DVC. I love all the bigger rooms with the DVC though. You'll have a master bedroom with a king bed and a masterbath that has a jacuzzi tub (my favorite part!), then a second bedroom with two queen beds and a bathroom of it's own, plus a living room with with a pull-out sofa and VCR and a full kitchen. We stayed in one in July 1997 and loved it! No real pictures though.
