Old Key West Updated Rooms Question

Old Key West Resort - are there any rooms that have been updated with the wood (vinyl) floors?

All the videos that I see, the floors are still carpet.

Are there some buildings/sections of the resort that have the wood (vinyl) floors?

Unfortunately, I'm in a Studio. I stayed in Pop Century last year and their updated rooms were all wood/vinyl.

Unfortunately, I'm in a Studio. I stayed in Pop Century last year and their updated rooms were all wood/vinyl.

I was in one last trip. I would suggest an upper floor if you dont mind stair as I think the lower floors have a bit more of a musty smell due to rains etc right near the balconies. We had a mini pond next to ours on the ground floor.

Bedrooms have carpet. Living areas have the hard floor (whatever it is made out of, doesn't feel like real wood though). Studios have carpet in the sleeping area. Tile in the bathrooms.

The link @nickys gave is a bit harsh on the decor IMO. While I agree the bedding is far too drab, I don't think OKW lost its color - maybe the garish color but I like this version a lot!

We stayed in a studio there earlier this year. While it is carpet in the studio living space, we found it to all look and feel quite fresh and lovely. I liked it much better than our room in AKL.
