Old Key West 3 BR @ 7 months

I am doing some long range planning. Has anyone had any luck getting an OKW 3BR at the seven month window? And regardless of your success/failure, at what time of year were you trying?

Never tried to actually book, but I have looked several times. OKW is the lowest point total for a 3BR except for the Tree House Villas at SSR which have 3 bedrooms but are smaller. I have noticed that the 3BR at SSR and/or AKV are usually available even when OKW is not probably because of the higher point total. I checked real quick and OKW is not available for End of Oct which is now the 7 month window (SSR and AKV are available), but OKW 3BR is available for most weeks in September this year which is now at less than 6 months out. Probably a hit or miss depending on the time of year.

Never tried the 3 BR, so can't help you there. I am going to guess though that October would be tough due to the F&W at Epcot...I can see a bunch of friends sharing a suite like that to enjoy the happenings at F&W.... But like @GoofGoof said, it might be hit or miss

We are owners at DVC and have stayed in the GV twice. Both times were mid to late May. Of course it is a bit easier for us to book because of the longer window, but I do believe it depends on the time of year. Holidays like Memorial and Labor Day would be somewhat easier than July 4 or the winter holidays. And the Food & Wine Festival is very popular.

Plenty. Mid December, early May, mid January, Daytona 500, mid August. Never have had an issue with any of those dates between seven and five months. at two months they had us in two different villas to split a 6 night stay.

Yes we booked it last year in September and had no trouble getting it. We went up with friends and we loved it.
