old Disney footage

After months we finally looked at all of disc 2 to POC DVD. There was a feature called "Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color". It showed real archival TV footage from the attraction and TV program with Mr. Walt, himself.

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to get the old TV footage on video or DVD??? Is there any other DVD that has similar footage?? Our Haunted Mansion DVD does not have this. I would love to have this for enjoyment and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I watched most of this in tears wishing I could have seen all this first hand.

I also really enjoyed this great footage. You used to be able to see old World of Color and Disneyland programs on the Disney channel as Vault Disney. However, I believe that program was discontinued. About the only thing you can do is hope and pray for more theme park-related Disney Treasures DVD's. I know I am. :)

Edit: I just remembered: You might want to try to look up the Disney Treasures edition of "Disneyland U.S.A." I haven't watched it in a long time, but I think it has the full version of the program that was cut for use in the POTC DVD, along with others.

Just so you know, normally if a thread is out of place a moderator will see it and physically move the entire thread to the appropriate forum. There's no need to re-post it yourself.
