Just received our DME tags in the mail the other day. But... my daughters friends name is wrong. They used our last name instead of hers. (Everything is right on My Disney experience website.). So my question is, we still haven't decided if we're going to get our luggage or have DME deliver. If we get our own luggage and bring it to the bus do I need to even change her name?? It is wrong on the booklet tag too but we should have our magic bands and hopefully they will work. should I call or just let it be???

I would probably call and ask if it needs to be changed. Is she over an age where she has ID? If not, I don't think I'd worry about it too much, since they're scanning the codes and not matching names. Might be good, since I'm assuming, your room is under you last name.

In the immediate future, in terms of DME, it's not important. They'll transport her and her bags just fine.

But you might want to double-check her name in places like the hotel reservation and her name in the My Disney Experience site. Having that be correct, especially if she "takes control" of her own account using the "Invite to Plan and Share" feature, is probably important in the long-run.

The only issue will be during resort airline check-in because it will not match the airline's checklist (Disney's with your last name, airline with hers). Just volunteer the correct traveler's information. The other option is adoption.

And you definitely do not want to waste time at baggage claim.
