Thanks. There is only 2 of us, so I'll keep trying, and also try to pick a second choice. I wish I could have booked 180 days in advance, but it just wasn't possible this trip. Kona will be fine, I enjoy the meal there too. The Polynesian has special memories for me (was the first hotel I stayed at on my first trip to Disney) And to be honest, it was because of a cancellation that we got to stay there lol. 30th anniversary of that first trip this year. So have to make a special dinner of it.

Anyone think there's any chance an opening will come up for the first week of November for dinner? Been looking and so far the whole week is already booked for dinner. Should I keep trying, or just give up and go somewhere else? Not sure what I want to do.
I'm there the same time frame, and Ohana's books up quickly. I would ask the Concierge Desk at your resort to check for availability every day. You never know, something could possibly open up. Best of luck!

If you don't mind eating early, you could arrive at the 'Ohana check-in desk around 4:45 p.m. (opens at 5 p.m.) and ask if they can accommodate a walk-in party of 2. We have done this with a party of 4 on a booked-solid night and were able to be seated immediately.

Its worth it to keep trying. It took us a week, but we eventually got in at Ohana. We called as soon as we could when our window came up and everything we wanted was booked. We kept trying everyday and got everything we wanted except be our guest, it took a week of calls but eventually we got in. Not the exact times we wanted but good enough. Good luck.

You have the best chance of getting in using the phone and closer to your travel dates. Even 24 hours from the time you want to dine. They do have cancellations. I have walked up to the podium and gotten in even though they were booked due to no shows. Party of 3, yes that's me!

Never give up. We were heading down to WDW and called to see if by chance we could book Teppan Edo at the last minute and we got it. We had been calling for weeks because it's my daughters favorite place and had no luck. So never give up.

We will be at WDW week of November 11th for birthdays celebrations and Ohana all booked up :( . I would keep checking back to see if there is a cancelation; and yes I agree with everyone else book a back up reservation, good luck!! :)
