Hey Everyone! We booked recently reservations for a character breakfast at 'Ohana at the Polynesian Resort. It sounds good.. but I was just wondering if anyone has tried it and what they thought of the experiance over all. Thanks!!

We did it last march. It was really nice. The food was very good, they bring all you care to eat to the table. The kids enjoy the parade with the characters and the charactars came around to our table several times. As always Chip and Dale were big favorites, those two are such clowns. You will have a great time. Enjoy!

We were there Aug. 2001. Echo the good food comment and the parade with kids and dads was adorable to watch. Great view of the castle across 7 seas lagoon. We had a fun time.

We took our nieces and nephew in March 2002. It was awesome. They loved it. The characters were great. I thought the food was high quality too. They had a parade with the kids and the characters. My brother has 5 kids from 11 to 1 at the time and it worked out so much better than a buffet. It was less confusing and gave everyone more time to eat and you didn't have to worry about missing charactes while you were getting more food. It was awesome. Good choice.

O'hana Breakfast

My son (14) and I went to this breakfast in mid-October, 2002. We loved it, food was great, they bring it to your table, characters were lots of fun (Mickey, Goofy, Chip & Dale). They have a parade, do songs and parade around the restaurant with all the kids. It's great for little kids - my son was too "cool" to parade around with everyone but he sure enjoyed the characters coming to our table and getting their pics and autographs - of course, Mom had to have a pic with Mickey.

We did this also in 1998 - at that time it was called Minnie's Minnehue? Breakfast (I didn't spell it right). Minnie was there and Goofy and Chip and Dale (no Mickey). We enjoyed it a lot that time too. I particularly remember several young kids in wheel chairs and how great the characters were with them. That was our first trip down and just watching how wonderful these kids were treated, I've been hooked ever since. My son is autistic (but he's VERY high functioning. It's almost like the cast members have a sense about "special" kids because they've always acted like they understand him, when most adults don't. We LOVE it there and go every year.

Back to the breakfast - it's a GREAT time and very good food!!!!
