According to the Disney website my family and I are 151 days from our vacation, yay! Three adults (me, DW, and DMIL) and two children (sons 5 and 3). Since before the 180 day mark, I have been slowly putting together our Dining Plan; we are on the Plus Dining Plan. Every few days I look at it and make a tweek here or there. The latest was on Tuesday when they released the Candlelight Processional Packages. I had been wanting to eat at Le Cellier because of all the goodness spread by the foodies but at the 180 day mark could not make reservations due to them blocking out the times for the Candlelight Processional. But I digress, point is I need some unbiased help from my fellow Disney nuts.
Here is the overall game plan:
Sunday - arrive around noon and hit MVMCP at 4 pm
Monday - AK in the AM, MK in the PM (morning is flexible)
Tuesday - free day, relax and unwind
Wednesday -HS in the AM, EPCOT in the PM (morning is flexible)
Thursday - free day, relax and unwind
Friday - MK in the AM through mid afternoon, and EPCOT till midnight.
Here are the dining plans (everything is new for us with the exception of Trail's End, too good to pass up):
Sunday - Late Lunch/Early Dinner (QS, not sure where but hopefully somewhere in MK)
Monday - Breakfast (TS, Tusker House when park opens), Lunch/Dinner - (QS maybe back in MK)
Tuesday - Lunch (Beaches and Cream), Dinner (TS, Trails End or Ohana's - not sure which)
Wednesday - Breakfast (TS, Tusker House when park opens), Lunch (TS, Le Cellier)
Thursday - Lunch (QS, Wolfgang Puck Express), Dinner (TS, Trails End or Ohana's - not sure which)
Friday - Breakfast (TS, Crystal Palace), Dinner (QS, Katsura Grill)
Now I have obviously double booked some places due to being unable to decide where we should go on certain days (such as Tusker House on both Monday and Wednesday and Trail's End and Ohana's both on Tuesday and Thursday nights). This is the main reason I have asked for the help on this forum. I am hoping that my fellow Disney fans will help me with some good sound advice and I can have some solid decisions made by the end of the week to drop some of the reservations.
We definitely want to do both Ohana's and Trail's End I am just having a hard time committing to which night we should do what. By the way, we are big fans of the Chip and Dale sing along, that's why we will be at Fort Wilderness in the evening and hence dinner at Trail's End.
Take a look and tell me what you think. Feel free to poke holes in my plan just don't sink it; we are passed the 180 mark and trying to make reservations at this point may be somewhat difficult. Thanks again for taking the time to read, respond, and improving on our meal selections.
