Does anyone know where i can purchse "official park videos?" I see every now and then they have them on ebay. Where would you buy them at the park? Every year we go we look but can never find them. I really dont know how to explain them, theyre usually of a specific section of the world ie. magic kingdom and epcot etc. Does anyone have any information?

Umm, all I know about "park videos" is that when I was there 2 weeks ago, I saw a dvd and vhs video about the hundred years celebration, it was only 60 minutes adn the dvd cost $30!!! OUCH!!!!

The 100 Years of Magic DVD is actually two features in one. It has both the 100 Years of Magic video (a 60 minute tour of each of the four theme parks) and the Walt Disney Story. Considering each of those videos on VHS sell for 19.99 a piece, the DVD is actually a cheaper buy, if you want both of them.
Oh yes. You can usually buy the official videos at any of the major retailers in the parks or the resort gift shops. Try the Main Street Cinema at Magic Kingdom. Or go to the bookstore at the Marketplace in Downtown Disney. I know for a fact they sell them there because that's where I purchased the DVD.

Thanks for the information! They sound awesome. Is there anyway I could purchase them outside of Disney World? I wonder if the Disney Store special orders stuff like that....

I know! Im looking forward to one, if they decide to do that. We talked about what could possibly be on it in another thread, and i think people were saying that disney over the years has put the park openings on tv (MGM, Animal, Epcot, Magic) so why not release them on DVD!? I would love that so much. i plan on buying a digital video camera (had a major expense so i couldnt get one earlier as thought) and making a DVD when i go down....i need the dvd burner too though...lol.....
i think 5 or 6 bones (500) dont have the cash for that right now
i think its cheaper however if you get a new computer with it in it.....thats what i plan on doing...apparantly apple has an awesome set up in which you get 2 processors (true multi-tasking) and loads of ram and the burner...they also have awesome dvd making software (almost a grand though...i think)...anyway, i dont know how many of you are nineinchnails fans, but their new DVD is made entirely with apple computers and software.....and digital video cameras
