Odds of current discounts extending or new ones popping up tomorrow?

Today is my 180 days (August 24-29) and I have not booked yet because I was hoping there would be a "better" discount but now when its down to the wire I'm getting a bad feeling that I may regret not booking the current deal.

Would you just take the deal and then possibly have to cancel and rebook with a new deal if one comes out or would you play the game of chance?

The current discount would be saving $138 so really its only a savings of $69 per person over the course of 5 nights.
We were really hoping for a FD discount which would save $409 so about $204 per person over the course of 5 nights.

Why do you think a new discount will come out tomorrow? Historically 2/27 is not a discount release date: https://www.mousesavers.com/historical-information-on-walt-disney-world-resort-discounts/

If you know you want to go just book and if a better discount comes out adjust. If today is 180 days you are already on the clock to book dining so possibly missing out on an ADR people already made this morning for your desired travel week. Free dining is already the bounceback deal so ADRs are in high demand. I booked mine 2 weeks ago and had to make some adjustments based on limited availability.

It's only 2 people so I'm not worried about getting the ADRs I want.
Lately none of the discounts have been at historic times. I am just going off the current discount end date which is today.
I guess I'll have to decide soon lol.

I'd book it - it won't cost you anything if you decide to change but you could miss out on something new being released. $69/person isn't a huge savings but it could buy a lot of dole whips!

I don't think that there will be any Free Dining offered in August, you are probably looking at End of Sept, a week in November and then some December dates, that is my guess, time will tell, but I would book the room only discount that is available and switch if something better comes around

It all depends how the travel patterns pan out this year - if booking are down then I think you will see additional discounts offered. I think the expectations were for a strong year but recent events may soften it.

I'd book the deal and if something better comes out, you should be able to switch to that deal. Ultimately, better to have some deal locked in just in case nothing else comes out.

Also, you don’t need to book a hotel to book ADRs at 180 days. That’s available to everyone staying anywhere. So if you know where/when you want to eat, book them. You can always cancel or adjust later.
Yep I know and I plan to book them. It just stinks I would have to get up each morning lol. But yeah if I dont book today then I'll be up for the next several mornings to do it. :)

Well I'm not as worried now since I see they extended the booking window for the room discount to July 9th so I'm not booking yet.
But they did not extend the free kids dining plan offer so it still ends tonight.
Hoping that means a batch of FD might come my way soon :)
