Odd Thing...wrong address keeps popping up on Reservation System?!

Ok so I have booked like at least 8 trips to WDW over the past decade....been at same address never used any other. This time when I made my reservation the CM asked if my address was correct, and mentioned a street a few blocks over with a different number in my city....I told him absolutely not please fix that, made no sense, when I got my email confirmation it said correct address. Today I had to switch my trip to one day less due to airfare $$$ huge difference, and again a different CM mentioned a different address when they asked me to confirm my address. I told her that was odd as I already addressed that with the prior CM. WELL got my confirmation for the date change and LOL there was that odd address. I will call them next week but isn't that weird?!?! (if someone else wants to pay my bill that's fine though....)

Oh no worries on my ME packet...it came unbeknownst to me today w/o my flight information and the wrong date. I called and they said to cross out date and entered in my flight information. It never came before til I called in my flight information...anyhow, so that is snug and everything else usually comes email confirmation wise....but thanks, I will BUG them because it's just darn odd....I notice my usual reservations are under my name with the addition of my middle name, I even checked last years confirmation...and this one I think they did not enter my middle name...have to check that out but if I drive by said house and they have mega Mickey Christmas decor out...I will be even more paranoid...... Oh and my cc's...got bills from all of them this week and they are fine too. Good to think on that.... I ordered my Disney Dream Rewards card today too...woo hoo...got the one with annual fee but with those double plus points I accrued about $800 towards this trip since March!!! That should cover 5 days food.......which more than pays for the annual fee.

That is weird. I was on the phone making a payment and the CM said they did not have an email address for me and would I like to add it? I said that's weird because you emailed my reservation confirmation to me a few months ago. She said they were changing to a new system and my address may have been dropped, so I gave her my email. I wonder if the new system has anything to do with your problem?

It's happened to me too. I moved almost 2 years ago. I've gone a couple of times already since I've been at my new address. On DIsney's website it has my correct address. When I call to make a payment or make a request as it retrieves my reservation it still has my old address. I still get all the correspondence they send me and it's been changed by a cast member twice. I don't understand it either.

I changed my reservation recently and when they emailed it to me it had my old address and phone that I had 5 years ago. I just called and got it changed, strange though. I would call ASAP.

I called today and she re-emailed me a new confirmation, but stated that it can't be removed from the system? But to be assured that my name was only associated with my actual address...which makes no sense whatsoever that the other never in any way associated with me address still is somehow connected with my name somehow..... Like I get that an old actual address may lurk in the system somewhere....oh well...so I joked with her a tad bit....suggesting THAT was where my PIN codes never received have been disappearing too..... She politely stated none were attached to my name....sigh......

Hi! I have had the wrong address pop up for years. Most of the time it is because it has an old address. Last year they even had an address from over 10 years ago pop up. And I've been at least 15 times since I lived in that address, which is before I got married and book under my married name. It is all very strange. Another thing to note, is that just because you call and "change" your address, the next day it could possibly revert back to the old one on file. I had the same thing happen last week, and I don't think they ever found it. I have also changed it on my website account a dozen times, and that never resolves the problem. Best thing to do is to have you confirmation numbers and hope for the best! DME will put you on a bus and you'll be on your way!

Thanks Wendy...guess I should assume it will always be knocking around the system...er...DataBase (thanks Trotsky!) WOO HOO I just realized a month from today I will still be in the "world".... Still am darn curious to know how someone elses addy got associated with my name...truly the only thing I can think of is that someone else living on that wrong address street has a similar last name and at some point a CM went through the process of entering it in the system assuming my name was close enough to the caller...until the caller said WHOA and a new thingy was created....which feeds the retention of everything forever in the system.....

It happened to me as well. It had a PO Box address for me??? I never had a PO address. The CM confirmed that the address she showed was indeed the correct address. She didn't even see where it had the PO address. Soooo wierd!!!

I had the same problem, all of a sudden they had my old address where my parents live. Took 6 times to finally get everything straightened out.
