Odd Question

Hi there, name's Marcella, long time viewer, first time poster, life long Disney World fan. I have a very odd question that I've searched all over the internet and this site for. I'm trying to find out how to book a band to perform at Disney World. I'm a member of a band from NYC called N/A, we're a pop/rock band with songs for fans of Ryan Cabrera or John Mayer, except in English and Spanish. We have an extensive performance resume, including having a song included in a soon to be released video game and opening for Maroon 5 next year. It has been a dream of mine to perform at Disney World since I started performing when I was 7.

If there's anyone that can provide any assistance, perhaps cast members, extreme Disney-aholics, anyone, I would be extremely grateful.

I know that bands no longer play at the West End Stage, but we're willing to perform anywhere at Disney World.

Thank you for your time....and now, a shameless plug...

I'd start off with emailing WDW and ask them what their policy is on this. You can also try contacting other bands that perform at WDW and see what they go through to perform there (or what they had to do their first time performing). I'm sure the Off-Kilter guys would be willing to help you out if you don't get a response from WDW right away.

I've never performed there nor do I know any of the booking procedures, but these might be two of your best bets. Good luck, and let us know when you find out. If you perform, I'd love to see your band play.

Also, WELCOME to the boards!

There's a band here in Tampa that plays at Pleasure Island regularly. Unfortunately, I can't remember their name at the moment. But I've heard they get paid pretty good when they play there.

I am sure that Your Music is incredible if you said that Ryan Cabrera Fans would love it! I went to see his concert here in chicago novemeber 3rd it was beyond amazing! It was more like a dream come true! The biggest dream I have will to see him preform In wdw 2005! He already has it scheduled!Only true Ryan Fans would no LOL! My teacher at school has a son who went to college with him i believe they roomed together how interesting!!!!on November 3rd this month they even saw him backstage after the show! OMG I could have died LOL! Good luck with your career. I would e-mail them letting them know what you guys want to do and see where it goes from there!
