Odd Magicband Question

We saved our magicbands from our last trip where we stayed on property, at the end of January 2015. We are going again in mid-November 2015 but we will not be staying on property this time (my brother moved to Orlando in the spring so we will just be staying with them). When I buy my tickets this time, is there a way to link them to my old magicbands or would I have to buy new magicbands if I wanted to use them for the trip?

The bands are linked to your MDE account, not to your tickets. So as long as you use the same MDE account and link your new tickets to it, you should be fine. And since your bands will be less than a year old, they should still work for both short and long range scans.
