Odd COP News!

I have been told that on the exterior of the COP, a picture of Zurg is covering up the date (2002/1994/1968, etc.) on the main sign.

If anyone knows this, or any new COP news...or if you're going to be at the MK in the coming weeks, please let me know!

No, it's a report I've received through email. Very weird...but it seems possible. Maybe the sign had to be refurbished...?

You refurbish a sign for an attraction that's only open seasonally when the refurbishment is for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween parties.

I was there last week and asked a CM about it. The Zurg picture and and some hoops around the ramps leading to the building are not permanent... only for October.

Looks like they forgot to take the Zurg picture down after the Halloween party before I was there. I wonder if the CM I talked to mentioned it to someone or even took it down herself.

If I would have seen that when I was there, I would have died! HAHA! When I was there for Grad Nite, they had a "Free Pic" station up over in the que and I thought it was open! I freaked!

I know this is a little off topic but I'm going there around Thanksgiving, does anyone know if CoP will be open.

I would think that "seasonal" includes Thanksgiving, especially as it is a busy time.

Last year, COP did not open in Thanksgiving. It closed a few weeks ago...last year...and only reopened in late December. Since then, it has opened again on President's Day Weekend, Easter, a Grad Nite day, and from June-Mid-August.

Hopefully, it will open more frequently and they will actually try to promote it - heck, why shouldn't they? It's what we're partying about...

I still hear from a lot of the youth that I work with at church that they really liked that ride. Not one negative comment yet from young people. Yet sometimes I think that they think that it would not appeal to young people. (Not posted here, but I have heard it before.)
