Believe it or not, it's generally still pretty warm to hot in October. We don't really have an autumn here so we don't get a lot of cooling off the way northern states would this time of year.
You can see the daily averages for Orlando in October here. Keep in mind though that often times the temps are lower then the actual experience. Humidity often pushes the feels-like temp as much as twenty degrees higher. Also, take into account the fact that Florida is the only sub-tropical state in the Union and that it's actually stronger on the UV/burn index then other states. It really adds to the feels-like temps and your actual experience walking around outside all day.
It's also still within hurricane season (which runs June 1st - November 30th) and there may be scattered afternoon showers.
