We are leaving in two weeks:sohappy: for our trip and can't wait! But we've never been this late in the year, and were wondering about the weather...daytime and nightime temps, rain and such. Pack a jacket? Sweats? Any guidance and advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

During the day it's great weather for shorts and t-shirts, but it can get comparatively chilly in the late evenings, once the sun sets.

We leave in 9 days and have packed mostly shorts & t-shirts, but a couple of pairs of casual trousers and a couple of long sleeved tops just in case.

We went last year about the same time you are going and it was hot during the days and expect a little rain. It really didn't get that cool at night, not cool enough for a jacket or pants but through them in just in case you never know!! Have a blast, I am so jealous, I want to go back now!!!!

We are going in November and even then on a previous visits it was approx 80 during the day and 65 at night. Shorts and tea shirt during the day. Short sleeve shirt and casual trousers evening. I take a couple of sweaters but the only time I ever used them was when arriving home after getting of the plane.

1 month today and really looking forward to it. We are stopping at WL for the first time having stopped at POR for the past 2 visits and I am counting the days.

Have a good Hols

Cheers

We were there the third week of October last year and it was nice. We wore shorts the whole time. It did however rain a lot. We got totally drenched in a thundershower that lasted from about two in the afternoon until about 8 that night.

One thing to take into account is that past weather is not always a good indicator. I was in NYC the first weekend of the month. Last year is was 82 degrees this year is was 59 degrees. What a difference a year makes! I guess the point is dress for warm but have a backup plan.
