October hours & HHN dates?

Any US regulars know when US and IOA put out their park hours? I'm looking for October and HHN dates too.

HHN will run every Thurs-Sun Sept 19 through Nov 1, with select Wednesdays. USF will close at 5:00 pm on those nights.

I doubt it will run Sunday 9/21, usually Friday/Saturday only first weekend. Expect the final two Wednesdays in October as well.

Good, we check out of POFQ on the 19th and we were hoping that the 20th would be a HHN date.

FWIW, Thursdays and (strangely) Fridays seem to be the best bets. Saturday is the worst, Sunday is almost as bad, and the few Wednesdays they schedule are generally days the local school system is out the next day, making them crazy busy. And the standard get early admission, buy express if at all possible, etc.

Thanks @71jason for the advice. We're going to be doing MNSSHP during our stay too. I'll plan for HHN on a non-weekend day.

Would you recommend doing IOA and then HHN on the same day or no?

If you don't mind going 9 or 10 am to midnight-ish, yes. In October should be able to knock out IoA in a day, and probably will give you early admission to HHN around 5:45. (They did away with that for about 2 years, then brought it back last year.)

Last year we went on the first Wednesday and it was SLAMMED (still tons of fun). We had EP and did all but 2 houses. Plan on going on a Friday this year If I remember correctly the dates should come out in May. I "like" the page on FB and get newsletters in my e-mail so I know when to book (Frankly, if I wasn't going in June I would book today- but that cuts into June's spending money LOL)

Probably the best idea! I should schedule another day to just ride the Hogwarts Express all day.

Other than the early closing time, I doubt you'll even notice. Sundays get a bit busier in the afternoon, but Thursday should be fairly quiet.
