October discounts?

Hi all! I'm traveling with my family the first full week in October this year (7-11). I know a lot of people are saying the likelihood of discounts coming out are getting slimmer and slimmer, but have discounts for October ever been released this late? With Star Wars happening I'm worried that nothing will be released this year aside from the free dining that already was.

(Also -- any tips/tricks w/e you want to throw in for that week please feel free )

I’d guess that if nothing drops by 7/31 then it is unlikely there will be any discount offers. My assumption is Disney is experiencing increased demand in bookings in September and October and thus has no reason to discount rooms/offer dining incentives.
