Observations from Magic Kingdom 11-5-11

I went and got into the holiday spirit very early, so i went to the magic kingdom, here are some observations from the day.
Park Hours: 9:00am - 12:00am (12:00am - 3:00am EMH)
Dreams Come True Parade: 3:00pm
MSEP: 9:00pm, 11:00pm
Wishes: 10pm
MMY: 9:45PM, 10:35PM

So i arrived around 2pm, already loving the decorations up at TTC, to get onto the monorail to magic kingdom, to see the decorations on the train station.
Went inside the park, and loved seeing it already decked out for Christmas (wasnt it just halloween?)
It was a bit cold, and windy, but it didnt stop me.
I went onto space mountain, to see the fastpass line was backed up, but i still did it a couple times.
I went to travel the WDWRR, and for some reason, they held it up when i was in frontierland (parade possibly?) cuz it was around parade time.
Rode splash mountain, the same old here.
BTMRR is still the same (cannot wait to see its refurbishment)
PeopleMover is still the same
The Fantasyland Expansion is always great to see taking shape, but nothing significally new.
The Haunted Mansion had no problems either.
Rode the Liberty Belle at 7:30pm (1st night ride), and enjoyed it.
If skipper David (you would of been working at night), You were the best skipper i have ever had for the Jungle Cruise.

The Castle Dreamlights came on at 7:15pm and i was blown away (again).
Now i did say it was windy, just keep that in mind for something else i will mention in a little bit.

the 9:00pm MSEP was awesome, but i noticed this last year, and again this year, is the top of the clocktower float is always off for the holidays (I understand why)
MMY both performances were good.
Now Wishes, about half way thru it, Pyro was missing (and it was noticable), I was suprised it wasnt canceled. (More the big shots were missing, but they had a full finale)
The 11:00pm parade was pleasent.

Since i was getting cold, and the park was open until 3am for resort guests, i decided to wrap up my day.

Had a great time, will vist a few more times before my NYE trip.

Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed this. I figured Tink wouldn't fly due to wind, but didn't realize they would not set off ALL of the biggest bursts. It was only due to wind?

The crowds werent the best, but managable.

And regarding the 1st reply, I have a camera, it wasnt working for some reason. I still havent gotten my 40th anniversary/Halloween Pictures off of it.

Cool. I'm sure we'd all love to see pictures to go along with your great updates.

It was very windy that night... Earlier in the day they were talking about possibly shutting down Fantasyland for Wishes due to the high winds, but they calmed down enough to not have to close up the land. I was supposed to work Wishes, but I got pulled back into rotation instead...
