Tonight was probably the most stressful night I have had on my entire CP. My location is the TTC since May, Im in Parking and Mickey's Gift Station. So anywho it was my turn to clear trams via Segway and im riding up and down the load zone and it is very crowded more than normal, but hey it is NYE. So there are these sets of chains that go across connecting the planter to the Q for the tram seats, there are 3 towards the back of the tram and 3 towards the front. Every tram I cleared almost, the chains were traken down so some one could cut in back or in front of the tram. They are there for your safty people, why would you think that you can move them. When I approached a guest removing the chain and polietly asked "Where are you going sir?" he replied, "I need to go to the GRUMPY parking lot" ok there, now you need to go back in line or would you like directions to Grumpy? "Cmon honey (woman with stroller) we're getting on the next tram" I told them they needed to wait, or they can walk out to their lot and they replied with "People pay money to come here, we should be able to get where we need to be!" um right you may roam across the tram lane, in tram traffic just so you can cut off the line of about 15 people in front of you, not fair for everyone else and not good for your safety. Now I understand the wait for the trams are a bit long some nights but that is simply because the parking lot looses most of its CMs into the Kennel, Lost and Found, Auto Plaza, Gift Shop and Custodial, these other places pull the parking lot CM's as they need them. We had 8 of our 9 trams up tonight to accomadate the 12 parking lots, there was going to be a really bad back up of guests. All in all from 12 till 330 I was clearing trams non stop, about an hour into it the Segway died and well it was the heel toe express until 330. Break were frozen as well. There is alot more that went on tonight that propably could have gone diffrently but that all behind me now, just needed a small venting session.
