We always make sure to get early check in at our resort so we arrive at POP around 7:15, do early check in then head STRAIGHT over the Magic Kingdom to be there at rope drop.

We were fortunate this recent trip that not only were we able to do early check in, but our room was actually ready when we arrived!

We ususally get in around dinner time, so we'll do some unpacking (while I have Must Do Disney on in the background) and then head out for some food at the hotel and some pool time. Then it's time to rest up and get ready for a full day of MK on day two.

We used to fly out at o-dark-thirty and got to our resort right around lunch time. We'd get a quick bite to eat and usually head to MK or Epcot. By the end of the day we were exhausted. Last trip we left early afternoon, got the resort that evening, got a bite to eat and called it an evening. We were refreshed and ready to go early the next morning. That seemed to work much better so that's what we're doing again this Dec.

Depends on the time of arrival. We usually drive up in the afternoon. We live in Miami. So we'll check in, eat something and stop by DTD and go to bed early for rope drop the next morning. We've also done the getting up at 4:00 and drive up and be there for rope drop, so we drop off the car at the hotel and jump on the bus. I don't do those because we are running on little sleep and by about 2:00pm we are exhausted.

depends on when we drive up. if we leave in the morning we will usually hit the parks, then take a break and check into the hotel, but on those spur of the moment trips where we just head up for the weekend we usually check into the hotel then do the parks in the morning.

We always arrive around 1pm get our room and head straight to MK. This year were changing things up. We are trying for the more relaxing vacation....actually I booked an extra day so that when we arrive we will spend the day at the hotel pool, maybe mini golf, maybe DTD. This way it seems more relaxed to my DH yet we still have the same amount of park days .

I've decided to not spend money on park tickets that day. I usually don't get to the hotel until around 3-4pm and I just can't justify the cost of the park tickets for less than a half day in the park. We usually go to DTD or explore the hotel.

For next week though I got tickets for the day I arrive because it was a 5 day pass for the price of 3. So I might as well meet my family (Arriving the day before me) in the park when I get there.
