November Trip??

Hello,

Has anyone been to Disneyworld during the November Teacher's Convention time. It's usually the first full week of November - the convention is usually just 2 days.

Is it extremely crowded?

Thank you!

I've never heard this called teacher convention week, only jersey week. I've done it twice, food and wine was going on, didnt find it overly crowded. lots of people from new jersey, they are a bit loud but all were friendly. weather was pleasant though it is hurricain season so that could effect the weather. I felt it was more crowded in mid august compared to 1st week of november. last time I arrived the day before halloween and stayed for 9 days, had a great time. I would do it again.

We were there from Oct 31 to Nov 6 last year(2011), the week before Jersey week. The crowds were incredibly light, even with the wine and food festival going on at epcot.

However, when we were leaving on Sunday morning(nov. 6), I thought i was at a tailgate at Met Life Stadium. There were a lot of people wearing Darrell Revis or Santonio Holmes shirts in the counter service at the hotel grabbing breakfast.

we are usually there during this tim every year , sometimes straddling the convention period. we do notice a moderate increase in crowd levels, nothing huge or anything but the 'food and wine' weekend during their convention is noticably more crowded than average. imo

I was there this past november - we are from nj. The crowds were very light the beginning of the week and we hardly had any wait times. Food & wine was also not crowded. That changed by the weekend, especially at food & wine, the last 2 days we could hardly move. I suggest if you can go a day or two early its worth it or stay a day or two past once everyone goes back.
