So after chaning our trip times over and over again we set it up for the 5th of november to the 12th (btw become a cast member if you want to save a ton on room rates). But as I am looking now we will be there during Food and Wine, Soap Weekend, and Festival of the Masters, plus Veterans Day. Anyone know how all this affects attindance during that time? Plus anyone know of any major rehabs yet during that time?

Us Too...

Hiya from Tx. Jerm

We'll be there Nov. 3-10 and then 2 days at US/IOA. Stay out of MGM on the 8th and 9th. Soap Opera stars....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! :D It'll probably be mobbed.

The good news on the food and wine(Yum Yum!) festival is it's at Epcot, which is BIG, and I don't think it'll effect a lot of ride waits that much because the food and wine crowd does'nt strike me as riding M:S or TT very much. BTW, I base that opinion on nothing more than crowd observations at Epcot 8 years ago. In other words, I could be completely wrong. :D

Veteran's Day is Tue Nov 11...It may add a few more people on the weekend before, but the FTV Pkgs and Super Soaps Weekend will bring in more people than Vet's day. I'm not sure what Festival of the Masters is but I'll find out. One more thing, the Teachers Convention in NJ is that week also, so you may see more than a few people from NJ that week because the kids are out of school. Just look for the Devils and Nets jerseys. :)

Have fun....is it November yet?!?!?!?!? :animwink:

Cheers

PS...Where are yall staying? We'll be at PO-R...We've always wanted to stay there. LONG LIVE DIXIE LANDINGS!!!!

More :)

BTMRR will be down for rehab until mid or late November. That's the only one I know of so far. I also don't expect COP or TimeKeeper to be open.

I also forgot to ask...Where are you a CM? If you tell me DL you'll be my new hero. :animwink: We're going in 2005 for the 50th anniversary. We've never been and I for one can't wait. I'll work on getting everyone else excited as we get closer to 2005 :)...WDW TWICE will have to do until then. It's a rough life but somebody's gotta live it. :D :king:

Cheers

Even More...When will it stop?!?!?!?!?

I just read about Festival of the Masters at DTD. I don't see this effecting park attendance much at all. It may pull some people out of the parks, but that wouldn't be a bad thing. Here's where I read about it at... http://wdwig.com/festmast.htm

Cheers

My first trip was in November of last year, the 9th through the 15th, during both the Festival of Masters and Food and Wine Festival, we loved every minute of it , lines to me didn't seem to long but my bunnizzle said it is alot worse in the summer, stayed at PO:RS and loved it, so enjoy you're trip in November, the weekend before Vetrens Day was a little crowd but that was because of Soap weekend....

Thanks for the tips guys...I have gone like every other time during the year but this is the first for Nov. I used to be a CM at DL but my gf is a CM for the Disney Store now. We are staying at the All Star Music, I have stayed at DL, Poly, Contemp, and all 3 of the All stars and really I actually like the All Stars best. It might be a bit out of the way but why pay so much for a room you will be in for a few hours a day and when you are there you are only sleeping......sorry I beileve is spending the full day out. We will be doing IOA and USF in one day we just havnt figured out when.

NJ

We found the crowds to be too big during last years NJ/Soap/Vets day to consider returning. Do the less popular parks during the weekend and do the others on the weekdays.

Don't expect to see too many Devils and Nets shirts-many NJ folks like the Rangers, Knicks, 76ers or Flyers.

Jerm, I was in Epcot last November for the Food and Wine Festival. The place was not crowded. I had minimal waits for rides and PS"s. I'll be there again this year at the same time. Good way to try different cuisines. joni :slurp:

So you're telling me that was a bunch of Canadians at Continental Airlines Arena for The Stanley Cup AND The NBA Finals? :animwink:  It's amazing what winning will do for your fan base.

They're having trouble selling out playoff games? Which team? Both? That's wild...I live in Beaumont, Tx and more people at my job were rooting for the Nets than the Spurs...lol
