Great time to go -- crowds will increase as you near Thanksgiving, but not bad until the day before. With TG on the 28th this year, you will have no problem those two weeks -- Weather is usually warm during the day, cool at night, so bring a sweatshirt. I love it at that time of year.

We did Thanksgiving week last year at the POLY, which was not crowded, but the parks were..We had a great week. The resort decorations are awesome, the castle is stunning, the Osbourne lights were just unbelievable. It was all firsts for us. We did the park hopper for the first time and it worked well for ressies and avoiding crowds. But it was pretty chilly....Also they do not offer the very merry Christmas party that week so I would consider that when choosing dates and I also paid rack room rates:eek: and I am still recovering from that..

We went Nov 15-21st this past year. The weather was mixed...chilly and dreary on some days and comfortable and sunny on others. It never felt warm enough to be pool weather, but we also live in south TX and I've gotten used to our mild temps, so I probably wouldn't feel like it's pool weather until it's upper 80s. The crowds increased the closer we got to Thanksgiving. By the 20th I could really feel the crowds, and by the 21st (day before Thanksgiving) is was quite clear that we were in holiday mode. We had to be REALLY mindful of FPs that day. The safari wait was between 80-90 min the whole time and even the FP line took a while. Still the days leading up to that point were pretty low, so I think it's a decent time to go.
