Hi all,

Going to the world November 10-16 2014....

Super excited about seeing the Christmas decorations but wondering if anyone can give me an idea on crowds....I've checked easy wdw and TP so I'm all set there....

Just wondering for those that have been this time of year in the past...how did you feel crowds were? Light? Moderate?

We always go mid August so I know how to tour a crowded park....just hoping for lighter crowds.....

Thx :)

You will be pleased with the low crowds. Nothing like August. We arrive a couple days before you return home to enjoy the wonderful decorations with fewer people :)

Same here, I've previously been in Sept/Oct and that was fine so November should hopefully mean less people and lower wait times.

Apart from BoG o_O

We are so looking forward to our November 9-15 trip to Disney. We have always visited in the summer and the last 2 years in September when it was unbearably hot and humid. We are excited about going during a more temperate weather season with smaller crowds. See you there! :cat:

Yay! We're November 9-15 twinsies!

Can't wait for mild weather, low-ish attendance, and the tail end of F&W!

Hey @UnhealthilyObsessed .....this is our first trip out of 13 staying offsite so there will be a huge adjustment for me. Going with daughter, son in law and granddaughter and staying at their timeshare. I know that this will be a very different trip staying offsite and sharing my grands first ever trip at 20 months old. I am so looking forward to it.....:cat:

We're heading over from the UK on the 8th till the 22nd of November.
Our last trip was 2 years ago at the same time & the crowds were low, the parks had enough people in them to have a nice atmosphere but you never felt overwhelmed by crowds.
The weather went from shorts & t-shirts to jumpers, scarves & jackets a few nights.
It's a great time to visit.

Thanksgiving through the weekend after can get a bit crowded. Otherwise it is a great month to visit. Pack for varying weather. We come from the Midwest, so the weather in FL in Nov feels quite nice to me compared to home. The pools are heated and the decorations/ MVMCP are great. Really puts me in the Christmas spirit earlier than usual.

Yikes, I know we're in for it but Thanksgiving is when we could go...arriving Saturday before Thanks and last park day will be Black Friday...maybe the first few days will be alright (fingers crossed)

The 10th will just be wrapping up the rundisney wine & dine half marathon weekend. I went same time last year and the crowds were non existent. It was the least crowded I've ever been there, even in January when the parks were ghost towns. Awesome time to go

Went in early/mid November in both 2012 and 2013: great weather, low crowds, and the decorations are awesome. I highly recommend this time of year! Have a magical trip!

It will be busy starting the weekend prior to Thanksgiving, as many school systems in the south have the entire week off. But if you mentally prepare for the worst, and the crowds are less than anticipated, it's a win-win.

The weather should be fairly nice as the severe Summer heat should be gone by then, and the crowds should not be too holiday intense yet. Nothing can be fully predicted, but I trust that these two factors will indeed work in your favor.

We went once where our check in date was Nov 15...the crowds definitely felt lighter on the early side of our trip...many things were walk on. The weather was cool at times, but not too warm or cold...although, we didn't want to swim...which is too bad b/c we had access to Stormalong. As for decorations, we found most of the resort decorations went up on the 17th (had previously been told this is the magic day for that), but all of the gingerbread displays were being built on the 16th...so hopefully you can catch some of that before you leave.

I went the week after Thanksgiving and the parks weren't crowded. You're going the week before Thsnksgiving so it should be similar. Do the rides you really like on Monday Tuesday Wednesday, the lines should be wide open.

Last year I was in MK on Black Friday and the crowds were insane. It was too much for my GF and me so we hopped over to Epcot, which was nearly deserted, and had a great time!

We're not going anywhere near MK on Thanksgiving Day! Lunch ressie at 50's Prime Time and if we want to hop it will be Epcot. Going to try MK on last day (Black Friday) at least until lunch (Liberty Tree 1:00ish) then we'll hop if it is insanity.

We will be there the same week! I think it is a great time to visit. It is a dream for those who wilt in hot weather and/or don't get a big kick standing in long lines. We were there in July and we had a wonderful time, but Disney in the slower seasons is perfection IMHO. :joyfull:
