November 8 - 13 suggestions

I have a trip tentatively planned for Sunday, November 8 - Friday, November 13. (My college homecoming in Central Florida is that weekend). It's the only week with the Osborne Lights, MVMCP, and the F&W Festival in the same week.

I'm already planning my general itinerary and making dinner reservations and would like your input. What do you think? Suggestions?

Sunday, November 8, HS
Arrive right at check-in at 3:00 pm. EMH in HS is until 10pm so I decided on the Osborne Lights over MVMCP. ADR at 50s Prime Time at 5pm.

Monday, November 9, MK (or 1/2 day MK and 1/2 day DS?)
Currently have MK scheduled all day. Breakfast ADR at BOG at 8:20. Dinner ADR at Kona at 5:30. Thinking about 1/2 day at MK instead with MK in the morning and DTD/DS in the evening. Otherwise, no time spent at DS.

Tuesday, November 10, Epcot and MVMCP
Thinking about the F&W Festival Italian Food, Beer, and Wine Pairing from 1:30-3:30. Leave Epcot and take Monorail directly to MK for MVMCP the rest of the evening

Wednesday, November 11, Epcot
All day in Epcot for F&W Festival. ADR at Teppan Edo at 7pm.

Thursday, November 12, Epcot
All day in Epcot for F&W Festival. Beer Tasting at 4pm. ADR at Spice Road Table at 5pm. Dessert Illuminations Party

Friday, November 13, AK
With college homecoming in the area, it made sense to do AK on this day. Check out from resort. Pack car. Drive to AK lodge. 8am ADR at Boma for breakfast. Leave car. Spend day at AK. Lunch at Flame Tree BBQ. Pick up car and go to homecoming.

Why not move MVMCP to Monday (or swap MK to Tuesday), and pair DS with Epcot? That way, you won't need a park-hopper pass.

Thanks for the suggestions. I really appreciate it. I'm an AP (although my pass does expire in November). MVMCP isn't on Monday, 11/9. Thought about MK on Tuesday but it would be all day in MK, including MVMCP. That's a lot. But then I thought I would want to do something else for the 1st half of the day. DS crossed my mind for Tuesday but then I saw there is a food/wine/beer pairing at Via Napoli that Tuesday. So, it occurred to me to be in Epcot through 4:00pm then hop to MK via the monorail for MVMCP. I don't have to be right at MK when gates open for it at 4pm.

That makes sense. I don't have an AP, so I'm always looking for ways to save a few $ on tickets.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Thanks! Osborne lights remain on for EMH, (8-10pm) right?
Yes they are always on during EMH just like regular hours. Actually is the best time to view them because there will not be large crowds like during regular park hours. Feels like you have the lights and music to yourself! Love enjoying them on EMH nights. We did last year yet again about the same week you are going and barely anyone was back there for those 2 extra hours, well I say the last hour actually is the best. :)

I will also be there the same time.. 11/5-11/14! Your plans look great! On the 8th, 9th and 10th we have the same parks planned! LOL

I am doing DHS on the 8th for evening EMH.. dinner at 50's PT. The 9th I have an early breakfast at Grand Floridian Café and then taking the monorail to MK for the morning. And the 10th I have an early breakfast at Kona and will take the monorail over to Epcot for the morning. :D. We are doing MVMCP on 11/12 and a day at Universal/IOA on 11/11.
