Nov 11-19? Crowds? Weather?

We are traveling to Orlando November 11-19 and besides being SUPER excited :sohappy:about our trip, we are curious if you know how crowded the parks are during this time and what the weather is usually like. We're from the Northwest and are looking forward to some (hopefully) sunny weather!

Also, if you know anything about Holiday Inn Express in the Lake Buena Vista area, I would really appreciate your opinion on it. ;)

Thanks!!

We will also be there that week (9-15th)...and we go every year at that time. We love it. I will go by what we've experienced the past few years. The xmas decorations will be up so that is just a sight to see...they are amazing!! The crowds will be pretty light. Last year we walked on almost everything, and if there was any kind of wait, the longest was maybe 20 minutes. Super Soap Weekend is on the 15th & 16th, so unless you are interested in soap operas...I'd stay away from DHS those days, it only gets crowded there, and I assume this year, being the last year, will be even more crowded. Last year we had perfect weather...we were actually spoiled with the weather!! Not a cloud in sight the whole week we were there, and not a drop of rain. The mornings will be chilly, then it will warm up throughout the day...and then at night it is chilly again. I love going in November just because it is the most comfortable weather...so I'll wear short sleeve shirts with jean capri/bermuda shorts, with a hoodie for the evenings. We are soooo excited!! See ya there!!

November Weather

I think the reason people move to Florida is for the weather in November and May. It is the best of the whole year. The crowds at the theme parks are still low - often no lines. We live here and try to spend as much time outside as possible in all of November. Sadly, some of the rides may be down for touch-ups and tune-ups. But for the most part, you should have a great time. The Holiday Inn Express is fine - I have been there for meetings. A resturaunt to look for off the property is Bahama Breeze, on International Drive. It is one of the places where the locals go. This is an upper end place run by Darden (the Red Lobster/Olive Garden folks) and will give you a real tropical touch with good food and reasonable prices.

Have a great week. Enjoy the gentle breezes, the moderate temperatures, and the short lines.:D
