Noticed something about 2000 Disney Glasses

I am not sure if here is the place to put this or not but here goes :) Just a silly observation and a quick ? at the end: I just moved and I was unloading a box I had in storage. I had my 2000 Disney glasses from Mcdonalds in that box and I noticed that the MGM one said "Disney Studios" on the earful tower on the side. I know that they are in talks with MGM but I thought it was just within the year. How long have they been in talks with MGM(meaning seperating from the partnership)?

I don´t know the official reasons, but when I worked in Epcot in 99, they were already telling us to start calling them Disney Studios, not MGM anymore. :animwink:
