Nothing like waiting until the last minute

I need advice other than the obvious "Don't Wait Until the Last Minute" kind!

The wife and I have decided to try and got to Ft. Wilderness Campground with our only son left at home for his spring break March the 14th thru the 20th. One major problem, there is nothing available for our travel trailer. Only cabins and pop-up sites. I have been trying to book since Wednesday by calling every morning hoping to slip in under someone else cancellation. It's been a no go so far.

I been checking their website playing with the dates a little. Ive noticed that every now and then, I'll find something a little new open up. Still nothing in my date range. Has anyone ever had success doing what I'm trying to accomplish? This close to your travel date? My 15 year old son has achieved so much in school. He is a freshman and never made anything other than A+ his whole life. I'm trying to surprise him with this trip.

Would you be willing to stay somewhere other than Ft. Wilderness Campground? Looking on Disney's website at those particular dates for three adults, Pop Century is available under a Spring room rate deal for $137.50 a night in a standard room, which is just $18.33 a night more than their quoted price for the campground's nightly $119.17 rate. I know the result is that you'd end up spending roughly $100 more than you originally wanted, but this may be your best bet if you are set on a Disney vacation on those dates and nothing opens up at the campground between now and then.

Thanks Kate but it's not a money issue for us. We usually stay at the deluxe resorts. We just love the Campgrounds.

hmmm, I would start booking ADRS right away and check back often for . Things open up all the time and if you are persistent I am sure you will find it.
That's what I have been thinking. The 2 places I really like to eat is Narcoossee's and the Cali Grill. As of yesterday, I could still book them.

Keep checking, things open up all the time. I have also heard if you make your dates longer it will show openings and then after you book those dates just call and cancel the dates you don't need.
