So my husband had the thought of booking our Disney resort without tickets, buying our tickets separately through UndercoverTourist! It'd save us about $50-$60!

However, would we be able to add free dining if it's offered? I don't think we can, can we, if we don't book a full package? We'd be staying on site, just cheaper tickets!

You cannot add free dining to a room only reservation. You must have a package with tickets.

I can confirm. To get free dining you must book a room and tickets.

At one point in time, you only neded to buy a small ticket (e.g. 1 day pass). I don't know if this is still the case. I also don't know if you'd end up saving money given ticket prices.

It is currently a 2 day minimum.

That's what I thought!! Thanks guys! We'll be booking it together for sure! Free dining is worth the $50-$60 for the kind of dining we plan to do! haha!
