Don't get me wrong I love it too, we are going back this year for our 6th consecutive year. However, if you have been once you have seen it all. They rarely update anything, 95% same parade, characters, and fireworks since 2005. They need to spice it up JMO.

This year will be my second time so I can't really comment on it. All i care about is lower crowds and shorter lines and being entertained. And thats what happens on that special night.

Since the parade was brought up. We plan on going to MK on the day we have tickets. How does it work when you are already in the park, and you have tickets? Do you walk out make a U turn and come back in?

Pretty much. You can do it anytime after 4 pm.

If they are still using wrist bands you just need to ask a cast member where to get your wrist band and then each person must present their ticket in person to get their band. Usually they start giving them out around 5 pm.

I have seen/heard that the Friday October 3rd MNSSHP has been cancelled and that an announcement will be made at MK regarding future events, etc. (The later part is just rumor but the official Disney site is no longer selling 10/3 tickets yet they still show it as a MNSSHP night.)
