Not So Scary Halloween Party

We have planned a trip to WDW in September and purchased tickets for the "Not So Scary Halloween Party" for everyone in our family. Due to school changes, my daughter will not be able to travel with the family. A Disney agent informed us lastnight that we could try to sell the ticket because it is not tied to a fingerprint like the park passes. Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah it's technically not transferable but no one would ever know. You could unload on craigslist or something

Our kids are home schooled but if they were in public school I would absolutely pull them out for a trip and the party. It's that good!

I bought tickets for my sister's family for the xmas party last year and she ended up cancelling her trip. One of the tickets was a kids ticket. I called and they let me change it to an adult ticket and we sold them to my aunt and uncle.

Coming from a school teacher, I would pull the kid out of school. If you're looking at only a night or two, what's the difference? I know this sounds horrible, but I also see value in being with family and enjoying life. If the kid goes to school all other days of the year (and this is his/her 1- 2 days 'free' from school) then that is a pretty darn good tradeoff.

I got a ticket last year just this way. What date is the ticket for?

We went last year, pulled the kids out of school. No regrets. Not what you asked, but figured I'd share. Her missing such a trip will be a life long regret memory.

You didn't mention in your OP, but is your daughter school age or a teacher? If school age, I wouldn't worry about pulling her out for a day or two, as long as her attendance record is good. If she's a teacher, that's going to be a different story.

My daughter missed a few days of school due to a family death and I would have dared the school to penalize her.
