Only one's I have a problem with are Countdown to Extinction, Dixie Landings, and...
add Safari Village and Conservation Station (Rafiki's Planet Watch...eww)
They took out all the good Animal Kingdom names...Kali was Tiger Rapids Run...but I'm okay with Kali River Rapids...not in the group that misses Horizons and World of Motion...certainly not over Test Track and Mission: Space...

Dinosaur is a dumb name...it's like DUH...now we'll call Rock 'n' Roller Coaster "Aerosmith: The Ride", the Tower of Terror "An Episode of the Twilight Zone", etc...Countdown to Extinction sounded SO MUCH better...and the "CTX" on each Time Rover only irritates me more...I don't think the ride should have a sign like it does...it's The Dino Institute...that's what it should say...with perhaps a morphing sign like for the Tower of Terror...(not with fibre optics...don't want to be TOO MUCH like the Tower...)

If that was the case..id say Skyway...

I will always call Test Track part of the World of Motion pavillion...because...it is! I see it as UoE housing Ellen's Energy Crisis... But as for Horizons, I'll always call it the Horizons SPACE renamed to Mission Space

The Disney Inn (I think that is what it was called, right?)

Pre-Disney Inn, it was the Golf Resort.

Other name changes...

Howard Johnson's at LBV
Royal Palace at LBV
The Americana Dutch Resort (yep, LBV)
Preview center at LBV became LBV Resort Registration (also LBV post office), now is Amateur Athletic Union. The post office moved twice... first to CrossRoads, then a few blocks north.

Old Key West was originally just "Disney Vacation Club Resort"
Disney Village Resort became The Disney Institute

Epcot Center
Disney's Wild Animal Kingdom (pre-opening)

Circlevision renamed American Journeys... redone as Timekeeper
If You Had Wings/renamed You Can Fly... redone as DreamFlight... redone as Buzz

Discovery Island.

It was great for easing the guilt of taking kids out of school to go to WDW. You could rationalize them missing school since you could spend some time at Discovery Island (which was "educational").

Any word on what will happen to Discovery Island?

they are going to use dinosaur DNA collected in tree sap to breed dinosaurs and call it Chester and Hester's Cretaceous Kingdom. Pressler has already greenlighted the project and I have heard from insiders that they have a velociraptor there. That's why they tell you to never bring your water sprites too close to Isla Dino (its new name). Supposed to open in May 2005.

At the beginning of the Studios animation tour, Walter Cronkite recruits Robin Williams as an actor in an animated film. In the course of overviewing the art of animation, Robin is transformed to a little lost boy and dropped onto Captain Hook's ship in a raging storm. As we learn how music, background and sound effects bring life to a scene, Hook is defeated once again and Robin gets a few tips on flying from Tink and Peter Pan.
