No WDW Super Bowl parade?

I thought it was always held at WDW no matter what? Am I wrong or is this year something new since its at Disney Land? I know DL is closer obviously but the Pats still have to fly back east.

Prob cause it's closer, Edelman is from Cali and the Main Street hub redevelopment isn't so pretty. Team is flying back together round 7 or 8

At least Butler got to go to Disney. He was the real game changer! Tom Brady has so much money he doesn't need a trip to DL. I'm guessing that DL was much closer to the superbowl location. Who knows...

It's also Disneyland's 60th anniversary this year. That might have something to do with it. Lots of attention pointed their way.

Parade has been moved to Wednesday. It will be "even-Elsa-would-say-it's-cold" freezing tomorrow, streets won't be clear, team won't be getting in until reeeeeeaaaaal late, etc.

Good, would have been a mess, though duck boats with snow mobile tracks powering them and plows on the front would be interesting to see.

It's funny, yesterday I saw a "We're going to Disneyland" commercial with Butler and Edelman online and pics from the parade, while last night I saw the same ad with them shouting "We're going to Disneyworld!" So it appears they had them shout both, though I'm not sure they truly are going to WDW.

You do realize the castle in Disneyland is hidden behind tarps right now...and there's quite a bit of construction going on there for the 60th?

Personally, seeing as how the Super Bowl was broadcast on NBC, I'm surprised that they didn't have them say, "I'm going to Universal Studios!"

Different ads tailored for different markets? I believe people on the east coast are much more likely to go to WDW and those on the west coast to DLR. Either way, helps to show that "winners" go to Disney to celebrate is the key take away. Having the parade at DLR because it was closest, and it still give them promo pics/footage they can use. And if framed properly, a vast majority of guests wouldn't be able to tell one park from another.

They don't have ride down the castle walls though? The ground is literally missing in WDW.

They Always do that. The players are contracted to say both disney world and disneyland. And like Dreamfinder said, it is tailored to the different markets.
