No Villas Available a Year in Advance?

I just got back from Disney and wanted to book next year's vacation immediately. When I went online to book a villa, none of the hotels have availability for next year already! Could this be true? Is this some sort of glitch? I'm in shock right now and need someone to tell me it ain't so.

If you mean a DVC villa, they cannot be booked any further than 11 months in advance. In 30 days you should be able to book one.

Also note sometimes for the public booking a DVC Villa (as I did that every trip before we joined DVC) for cash stays they do not show a lot of availability until 6 months prior. They always have a percentage for cash stays that Disney owns, but they don't add more to the cash portion of guests until 6 months out into the inventory.
You should be able to book before 6 months out, but just note if what you want is not available it probably will be later as more cash inventory opens up. I sometimes had to wait to book a cash stay in a DVC Villa like 6-7 months out but never had a problem getting what I wanted though. Now we are DVC members so that's a whole other can of worms to book. Haha!
