If I make a reservation at a restaurant for a party of five, but two of us show up to the ADR and the other three decide not to, will we be charged $30 for the three no-shows or because two of us made the ADR would we not be fined? Thanks!

The only time you'd be charged a fee is if it's a dinner show or other pre-pay dining situation like Royal Table.
*maybe* dining packages like Fantasmic dining package.

I think you'll get charged if you blow of reservations completely, regardless of if it being prepared.

As for the OP, given the level of change, and they're keeping the reservation for the most part, it should be ok, though a call to inform them wouldn't hurt. :)

Thanks everyone! That's a pleasant surprise. We are making an ADR for 5 for Sci-Fi one night, but its a late dinner and I think theres a good chance that my mom might have to head back to the resort with our two little ones before dinner, making us a party of 2. I'd hate to get charged for them if the kids don't make it.

Would I be correct in assuming that my mother and my children can use their table service credit for a quick service meal back at the resort if this happens?
