No more Dole Whip Swirls at Aloha Isle?

Was at MK today and went to get a Dole Whip Swirl (pineapple/vanilla) and was told "no" only Straight Pineapple was currently available. I was shocked!

And rather bummed

The ONLY option currently available in MK is straight pineapple. They also have the float and pineapple spears.

Apparently you can still get the swirl at the Poly.

You know that Sunshine Tree and Aloha swapped places? Aloha is now over by Aladdin where it goes through to Frontierland. Sunshine always only had the juice.

Just a quick tip, if you are at Animal Kingdom they have Dole Whips with alcohol...

I know that's my whole point. The new Aloha, the bigger one under the roof by Aladdin, only has pineapple.

My only question on this is, "why not?" All soft serve machines have two flavors with swirl in the middle. Do they not offer vanilla anymore? They still market vanilla and swirl online.

I believe the (Orange) citrus swirls and such are still sold at the new Sunshine Tree location. (Former Aloha Isle)
Pineapple Dole whips are sold at the new Aloha Isle location. (former Sunshine Tree).

What's missing is the pineapple and vanilla soft serve swirl.

I have searched purposely for orange bird the last two times (3-14-15 and 4-12-15) I have been since Aloha and Sunshine have swapped places and I have yet to find him perched anywhere. He's not in any planters around either restaurant, nor on the balcony above new sunshine. I hope he comes back. Maybe after Veranda refurb he will come out again. Also would be nice if sunshine switches back to original location by tiki room. Such a nice classic/historic tie-in.

So, since orange bird has yet to come back out does that mean we only have 6 more months of veranda refurb?

At lease as of 2 weeks ago when I was there, the new location has pineapple in both sides of the machines. No vanilla or other flavors to be found.

People's frustration with this is the same as mine when I go to a Dairy Queen that doesn't have chocolate. I hate vanilla only cones and vanilla in blizzards!

I did check at Sunshine Tree and they did not have the Pineapple, they sent me to Aloha Isle, and now that I think of it the CM said as I left " ....they only have the one flavor":-(

Great!!! My son does not like pineapple but likes the plain vanilla. So now I have to get in two lines to make the family happy. That was the straw that broke the camels back, I'm never going back to WDW.
