No discount for me... bummer

Just got off the phone with a CM and was told that we can't use any of the discounts for our January trip because we arrive on the 2nd. I asked if the 20% discounted nights could be applied to the nights we are there so the 5th,6th,7th and 8th but he said no. I am pretty bummed because I figured they would just let us have the discount for those nights. I thought about changing it so our stay starts on the 5th as a separate trip from the 2nd-4th but that would be such a pain because we already had to add Jan 2nd to our trip and have that as a separate reservation. Any one else have this problem?

Cant you do two separate reservations? Do one from Jan 2-4, then a new reservation the rest of your stay. Even if you need to switch rooms at the same resort, if it saves you money. You can always request to stay in the same room. We have done this in the past and never had to switch rooms. Unless you cant do this anymore, then I would call back. Good luck!

I fell your pain. My problem is that I booked a 2 BR villa @ Boardwalk for Jan/Feb and can't get any discounts to apply to it, even though I call every day at 7am. So frustrating!! I thikn I am going to end up booking a 1 BR and a studio.

If I were you I would do the split stay, it will be annoying but as @ISTCNavigator57 said "Money saved, is money saved"!

If I have a package booked for the whole time how would that work? I have dining and all the works set for the 3rd through the 9th and we also have almost all of the trip paid off. We would end up saving about 100 dollars with the resort discount if I did split the stay.

You would have two reservations--extend the one night reservation to be 2nd thru the 5th (with Dining and whatever ticket you will need for the whole trip) and 5th thru 9th with room only discount and with Dining added but no ticket.

Can you add dining with no ticket though on the 5-9th? I thought you could only add dining with no ticket if you're an annual passholder.
