I love Nintendo...but come one NOT another system. They've barely even got anything for the cube! 
It says 2005. Plus with such a close launch of both systems, compatablity is almost a given to boost GCN games.

Very excited, I hope Nintendo beats Sony this time. I'm getting tired of people putting down Nintendo there the ones who really revolutionized gaming in my opinion. The only thing I like about PS2 is Kingdom Hearts, GREAT GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok... I'm too lazy to go and read the article, but following in the great wisdom that Nintendo seems to have had over all their previous consoles... will it be backwards compatible? Nothing worse than going out and buying all these games for one console only to see the next-gen come out and you can't play the old games on that console.
Nintendo did right with the GameBoy and GBA... but keep screwing up whenever they launch the next-gen consoles.

Also to add, a Metroid movie and GCN sequel will come out soon. A script has been developed and the sequel has finally been oked by NOJ.
Also, Metroid Prime is the best game ever. I hade so much fun shooting Metroids in 3D.

Nintendo should go software only - it would suit them better. They lack the 3rd party support, which is really hurting them in the long run. One of the things people don't see is that a lot of what is wrong with Nintendo is their buisness practices. For whatever reason they continue to work under the impression that they still have the power they had in the 80's, which they don't. They lack the support from both the customer and industry support.

Nintendo is going under..fast...
The GC is having HORRIBLE sales in the US...nintendo is way too overconfident over their types of games...
For example::
I know people who have bought a PS2 for metal gear solid 2
I know people who have bought a Xbox for halo
....i have NEVER met anyone who has bought a GC for metroid or zelda...their games...although good...arent selling points anymore..and their SYSTEM...its a flop..
o well...not another "console war"...i just threw my hat into the ring

I totally understand what you mean. They're kinda pulling a "Disney": underestimating costumers thinking everything is OK simply because they're Nintendo.
But I gotta admit, when we were thinking about which console to get, I told my brother we had to get GC simply because of Super Smash Brothers Melee. TimeSplitters 2 and Smuggler's Run were bonuses...
This is going to be intresting. Now lets watch the WHOLE process be dominated by Microsoft! BACKSTABING FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!!:fork:

You know, I typically consider Microsoft to be a charter member of the Circle of Evil, but as a proud Xbox owner I have to admit that the system kicks ______. This system was made with a hardcore gamer in mind, and I like that.
