Nikon D70

I've posted a few times on here before but i'm going to start photography so I need a decent start-up camera and I was browsing ebay and I came across this

Does anybody recommend it or should I not?

Not a good price for an old camera at this point -- The D70 is still a good camera, but it's been replaced by the D80 and now D90 (and the D7000, although they say that is a totally different line, most people disagree and see it as the extension of the D90 line)....So you are looking at a camera that is now three generations removed, slow, and doesn't have good low light ability.

You would be better off with the entry level D3100 which has gotten phenomenal reviews.

That 139 Pounds is also not a good price...That's 225.00 US plus shipping....not worth it for a D70

I agree with everything posted above! The D3100 is supposed to be quite a good entry camera, however you can get a used D90 for the same price maybe even a little less. Something to think about.

I will agree with the D3100 being a phenomenal camera..heres my 3100 flickr to see what it can do.. (i separate my flickrs depending on the camera being used...dont ask why)
