I loved this ride. I would ride it and laugh and laugh and laugh when all the kids would start screaming when the lights went out. Still makes me laugh thinking about it. Lol

How about when it used to be Alien Encounter before Stitch ? I remember talking my 5 yr old daughter into going on it with me. It was pretty intense for a young kid. More of a Universal Studios ride at that point. They softened the theme up in 2003 by converting it to Stitch although the basic ride operation was the same.

I can understand the argument AE was too intense for kids but there was no reason to make it into what it became. Absolute was of space since 2003.
