Was wondering if the Night of Joy event at the Magic Kingdom is a event they have every year?

I wont be able to make it this year but would love to plan on doing this next year.

Yes, it has been happening for the last 27 years. It's being moved back to the Magic Kingdom by popular demand after holding it in the Studios park the last two years. It's a lot of fun...I've done it several times with groups of young people. Here's more information for you.

I'm looking forward to seeing how the concert venues are set up this year. The castle stage always holds the biggest acts, and is amazing to witness.

We go where ever Third Day goes...........1 year they were at Universal, and I must tell you I like it much better in MK. We didn't get to go while it was at DH, but heard it was not all that great. It's a great event to go to & I agree the concert in front of the Castle is the BEST!!!

Last year was our first year, and as said, it was in DHS. I really enjoyed it. With most everyone saying it is far better at MK, I am excited to say we are heading back this year! Also, looking forward to hearing Third Day and Casting Crowns lead worship for the first time.:D

While at Super WOW this week in Ft. Walton our Youth seem to really want to attend this. We wont make it this year but will try and raise some funds for next year.

We saw Third Day for Winter Jam this past year and what a great group live.

OH WOW, great to hear that you will be able to see a couple of really great bands live for the first time in Magic Kingdom in front of the Castle! Third Day is awsome live! My mom got me hooked several years ago & now we try to go to every event that they are playing. I have not seen Casting Crowns live yet, so I can't wait to see them this year. I hope your family has a great time as I know mine will.

Casting Crowns is AMAZING live. So is Chris Tomlin and David Crowder Band. I'm happy to say that we'll be seeing Third Day at NoJ and then again the following week! Looking forward to some great concerts!

anyone here see P.O.D live at NoJ last year? heard they rocked the studios

Yes, I saw a few songs worth. To give you some perspective on my point of view, I saw Metallica when they were an opening act (allbeit was Ozzy). I know hard music. I used to really love aggressive music. Admittedly, I do not go out of my way to listen to pain and aggression anymore; however, my son was with me and he likes them so in we went to the LMA arena to hear POD. Many folks seemed to be enjoying it, but I was not ..... impressed. Quite frankly, I could understand very little of what they were saying. Melodically, it just come across as power with no direction. Now, if I had listened to them a good bit beforehand and knew what he was singing, or even singing ABOUT, then maybe. Did they rock the Studios? I am sure they did. Perhaps I am too old..... Skillet on the otherhand, now they souded much better, could be understood most of the time, and had melody to go with the power. I enjoyed them much more. I tried with POD, I really did, but I just couldn't hear the praise in it. maybe it is just this old fart, me.

In a related matter, the sound guys that worked the Hat Stage did an awful job. I know most of the songs of Newsboys and Kutless, but the acoustics must just have been awful in that courtyard. Both bands did not come off sounding well at all. I am looking forward to the MK venue based on what I have heard.
