Last night my girlfriend Sarah, sar1980sweetie on this forum, received a scholarship for exceptional work in becoming a special education teacher. This was a tremendous honor for her and I am as proud of her as I can be. What does this have to do with WDW you ask? I will start a few years back.

Her original major was sports management, she went to school for a few years and along came the college program. She went away to Disney world and came back with the desire to be a teacher because she loved working with children while in WDW. Her employment here with a company called aspire at home led her to want to teach children with special needs. Since she took on this new field we have wanted to move to central Florida as soon as she becomes a teacher.

Now that we are all up to date last night she received a scholarship from a generous family that has been giving money to several charities for children with special needs. There is one thing that makes this scholarship SUPER DUPER EXTRA special though. This family that donated the scholarship made part of their wealth buy purchasing Disney stocks years ago! I just thought that was the coolest little bit of irony.

She doesn't know I posted this but I just had to.

That's truly awesome. The world needs more people like your girlfriend and more people who can finance people like her.
