Hold on... There's already a Sleeping Beauty DVD and a Lay and the Tramp DVD... So I don't get it. And what's So Dear to my Heart?

Why does everyone keep saying that about Sleeping Beauty? Even a cast member at Disney store said she had one, but they are not allowed to sell them. Is it some kind of widespread corporate joke?

So Dear to my Heart is a live action/ cartoon movie that was suppose to be released last year, but got delayed indefinitely. Like Song of the South or Pete's Dragon, only not as big.

Not only do we have Sleeping Beauty, I just found out we're also getting The Rescuers. And I know for a fact Region 2 has them also.

Hey, if you don't mind completing your collection with cover art in Portguese I can get them to you! :D It'll probably be WAY cheaper than Region 1 or Region 2. Of course, rumor has it that Region 1 Sleeping Beauty will be double-set, like Snow White and Beauty and the Beast, and ours is only one disc. But there's plenty of extras, including production designs, a making-of, games and the like.

oops, idoit me, i selected "other" rather than "So Dear to My Heart". I would love to find it as a dvd or vhs. I don't recall ever having seen it. I'd like to especially see the sequence with the spider and King Robert the Bruce.

In reference to Sleeping Beauty. i vaguely recall seeing something about a dvd release later this year.

As I've said, it's out AT LEAST in Regions 2 and 4. I can get one for whoever wants it, if you can deal with cover art work in Portuguese. It'll probably be WAY cheaper that your regular Region 1 DVD, around 10 bucks.

So Dear to My Heart was considered as Walt's favorite movie... it's marvelous.

Lady and the Tramp wasn't released with Gold...and is currently out of production. :(

"So dear to my Heart" was released January 19, 1949. The premise is a mother/housekeeper teaching a series of life lessons to her children through the use of cartoons.

I had to look all this up. I don't just naturally posess this knowledge. It would be nice, though.
