Next Big thing

Yep... either JP Jeep Encounter, JP Helicopter Tours (which would be a good challenge to soar if done correctly), or a coaster on that side of the park. My money goes with Jeep, then the coaster, the Helicopter (that concept has been heard about for a long time...).

So, IoA will get the next big attraction 2006/2007 with an announcement during 2005. It will have been two/three years since the Mummy, and Mummy came three/four years after MiB/IoA. After IoA gets a big addition, it will be another few years for the Studios to get the next biggie (which hopefully will be a water ride.)

I heard about a new ride in Marvel Super Hero Island in 2009 by a very reliable source. (He owns his own Universal Orlando web site) It's not Lexxweb

But you can look forward to several great rides coming to Orlando, Tampa, Winter Park and the Space Coast. :D

Frankly, I wouldn't mind seeing the Rocky Roller Coaster in Toon Lagoon. Initial concepts for the park had a roller coaster much like Pterydon Flyers themed to Rocky the Flying Squirrel. PLUS, it weaved through a fake mountain range with show rooms housed inside.

Very cool concept that would look great behind Dudley.

I bet it's the flying coaster in Jurasic Park. No one in the state has a flying coaster and the nearest one is at Six Flags Ga.

That would be a good way Universal can compete with Busch Gardens new diving coaster this spring.

While I love coasters, I would like to see a few more dark or flat rides. This will help the lines die down across the park.

I think the next big announcement will be that NBC sold USF. J/K Or at least I hope not. I remember seeing this the other day

Screamscape - (11/26/04) Universal Orlando has set in motion plans to renegotiate existing debt in an effort to get more beneficial terms as well as a $100 million revolving line of credit and a new $550 million loan.

I don't know how true this is however, if it is true then I am would be pretty sure that it would be for an attraction of some sort. 550 million is a lot, and if the get I would assume that it would be for a new resort. I am sure we all could sit here and thing of what the park could get with 550 million dollars.

Um... Superman Ultimate Escape IS a flying coaster. And so is Bat Wing at Six Flags America, and The Assimilator.

There ARE flying coasters in the US, and USF probably won't be getting one.
