News about the Share a Dream Come True Parade

I don't know why, but after some surfing around www.disneyworld.com, I found that the last day you will be able to see the Share a Dream Come True Parade at the Magic Kingdom will be Feb. 28th at 3:00 pm. The Parade will return April 1st at 3:00 pm. I concluded this because it was not on the calender for the Magic Kingdom for many days, this could just be because they have not decided a time, which is highly unlikely, or they are just not running it for some reason. Just thought I'd Let all of you know.

SpectroMagic will still run on "Special" nights. Wishes is every night, as planned.

Anyone know why this could be, I ran a Search and did not find it.

O, and hours for Feb. have changed, best check the site to see if the day you are going has been affected.

Many times this is only a problem with the system. They often times seem to forget a month or two for a little while. I bet it will be on the there in a few weeks.

I am going to say that it is probably a computer problem, because it is for the entire month of march. I don't think they are just not showing an afternoon parade.

Might be doing added construction around the HUB and it might require them to move the walls out further, so the float might be impassable too.

Just an idea.

I don't think they'd stop running the parade for a month, especially during Spring Break....it has to be a problem in the system.

Man, I really want a new parade. The SADCT parade is getting very old and stale. I want to see something new. Why doesn't WDW get a 50th parade?

They DID change the hours! They're extended now! MK open until midnight?! In Feb?! That's awesome!

It is a system glitch, the parade is still scheduled for everyday at 3pm.

Yea, don't worry about it. This happens a lot. Oddly enough, it usually AK that has no parade when the new hours are posted and then they are finally posted a bit later. Losing the parade times happens a lot when they change the hours on the website for some reason.

Probably this weekend because it's Mardi Gras weekend. Is it extended at the end of the month as well???

I'd bet it was probably a computer glitch. Especially since Spectromagic is still running during this time. Last Spring Break, they did 2 Share a Dream Come True Parades.

They seem to be having lots of problems with the schedule database conencted to the web site lately. I was looking at it the other day and they had 2 performances of Illuminations scheduled at EPCOT at 4PM and 9PM. There were actually a few days in a row where that data was present.

While there could certainly be something going on related to prep for the Anniversary, here is an example of database problems on this site. Thankfully all of the performances are happening at the same time so you don't have to waste all day.
