For the purposes of this thread, I'll consider newbies to mean first-timers or people (like me) who haven't been to WDW in a long time - in my case, 13 years. Everything was so different then (and I didn't know HS or AK existed then!) that in many ways I feel like a first timer. Test Track 2.0? I didn't ride 1.0! Journey into Imagination with Figment is bad? I'll bet it's worth riding ONCE! You get the idea...
The two attractions I'm most looking forward to are, believe it or not, Country Bear Jamboree and Hall of Presidents. Somehow I missed both of these on my two previous visits, and I just can't wait to see these two classic animatronics showcases in action. I know there'll be a lot of wheezing, jerky movement going on, but somehow the combination of that and the chance to sit and relax in A/C seems like heaven. Eye candy, ear candy (sort of) and body candy combined! I love that video of Abraham Lincoln slowly laying back because something failed - I'm hoping for some haywire animatronics - it's part of the fun.
Of course, I'm also looking forward to all the thrill rides - for some reason we didn't even go on Splash Mountain or BTMRR before! First time, my Mom wasn't the biggest park warrior, and she was the only adult. Second time, it was me, DW, and DS18 months so we mostly stuck to the slower rides.
So what first (or long forgotten) attraction experiences are you most looking forward to?
