New Years @ EPCOT

Epcot all the way!

If I were a parent with youngsters or teens, I would NOT bring them to Epcot for the New Years party. Since drinking is allowed there, many of the fans go way over-board. Drinking can cause to many problems and these same people, for the most part, will be driving back to their hotels. The Magic Kingdom is the place to be for family.:sohappy:

Right, but the original question was where to go for adults. :)

get in the park (that you want to be at that night) early, and STAY THERE

Agreed....if you plan on being in a park, pick that park, get there early and stay all day. We've done it three times and were in the MK each time! The fireworks are fantastic. Had a great time...just be prepared for the crowds! :ROFLOL:

Haha originally we were planning on spending the night at Pleasure Island. So of course long after we booked when it was announced that the clubs were closing we started thinking up other ideas.

Yes, definitely no children :)

We noticed there were things you could book for that night too. But is it fun to go nice and early to Epcot and spend the night around here and there in the crowds with drinks etc?

^ I think we intend on going to the parks early early everyday anyway. We will get early and rent a locker at the park we choose. That way we won't have to carry everything I guess.

IS Epcot a good choice? It is also closest to our resort.

EPCOT is great on NYE! It is wild! They've had DJ's around the world playing dance music. It's like being wall-to-wall in a club! Wear your party shoes!

Two years ago on NYE Boardwalk hotel had a DJ right by the boat docks. They were partying it up!
