We are thinking of being at WDW New Years Eve.Is there anyplace anyone can suggest to go for dinner and see the fireworks after. Preferably someplace not in a park.Thanks for any advice. We are a party of three adults.

Not in the parks??
The only one that comes close to your preferences, i would say dine in the California Grill, Contemporay Resort,
You may get there without entering any park, and watch the special new years eve fireworks from top of the world.
We'll be in the parks first thing in the morning Jan 1, but are a little afraid of the crowds NYE.
